I want to share with you a portion of an article Franklin Graham wrote in the April issue of the magazine, Decision, that is published by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

 

 

"As I write this, the United States Senate is deliberating one of the most dangerous pieces of legislation in my lifetime. If it becomes law, the outcome will be a full-frontal attack by federal authorities to remove any vestige of Biblical Christian faith from the public square.

 

"Labeled the Equality Act, this despicable bill is anything but that. Instead of equality, it could forever tip the scales of justice against the Judeo-Christian beliefs that have undergirded our nation, and most of Western civilization, for centuries.

 

"Christians, churches and faith-based ministries will be in the crosshairs for believing in the authoritative Word of God as He asserts, His uncompromising truth on marriage, gender and whatever He calls sin. Pastors who proclaim the Scripture on vital moral issues will be called 'preachers of hate.' The full weight of the U.S. government will bear down on Bible-believing Christians.

 

"The Equality Act would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to explicitly add sexual orientation and gender identity as new protected classes. What that actually means is that the immoral, unnatural sexual agenda of the gay, lesbian and transgender movement would be force-fed down the throats of the American public.

 

"This legislation would apply federal civil rights laws on sexuality to public schools, church-based ministries, Christion colleges that take federal scholarship money and private businesses. This would allow the government to impose its social standards wherever it chooses.

 

"Our neighborhood public schools could be required to teach first, second and third-graders that they can choose to be a boy or girl, or neither, or both. Can you believe it? Boys and men could use girls' restrooms if they 'self-identify' as female.

 

"Women's sports in particular will be severely affected. Girls are already losing opportunities to compete fairly in sports now that biological males are joining their teams.

 

"Faith-based ministries like the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Samaritan's Purse and Christian colleges and schools, could be required by this act to hire people who are hostile to our deeply held Biblical convictions. I can assure you, that will never happen at the ministries I lead. We stand firmly and resolutely on the Word of God and will never, ever compromise. Not one Iota.

 

"This is all driven by the progressive Democratic majority, with President Biden leading the charge, and they will stop at nothing to promote the gay, lesbian and transgender movement. The traditional moral values that we have long adhered to as a nation have been abandoned for the sake of truth, including Biblical truth and biological truth instilled by our Creator. They want to completely redefine the familiar God-ordained roles with in the nuclear family of father, mother and children.

 

"How in the world have we come to this point?

 

"The sexual revolution began in the 1960's, about the same time that prayer was stricken from public schools. The floodgates for abortion opened in the early '70s. Over the past two decades, acceptance of the LGBTQ movement has grown, and in 2015, the Supreme Court forced the nation to accept legal marriage between homosexuals.

 

"Little by little, moral compromises have been made, rulings handed down, and now the force of a dreadful and terrible new moral order is at our door. Our society, however, would not be the first to go over the moral cliff.

 

"Writing to the Romans in about A.D. 60, the Apostle Paul described the human race's descent into a moral abyss. People refused to acknowledge the power, wisdom and divine nature of God, suppressed the truth of God in unrighteousness, didn't give thanks to God and became futile in their thinking. Their hearts were darkened, and they became fools, all the while claiming to be wise. Sound familiar?

 

"God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. Though they know Gods Righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them." (Romans 1:24-32)

 

"What we are witnessing in America is the same kind of decadent culture that has turned its back on God. Our leaders and many of our citizens have exchanged the truth about God for immoral lies that ultimately will reap the wrath of God on the day of judgement. Not only that but they heartily promote, endorse and do everything in their power, especially through legislative bills, to impose their "value" upon all of us.

 

"The only answer is the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, The Gospel of the Kingdom of God, the Gospel that Jesus taught""(end quote)

I have been sharing with you about the fact that all Hell has been unleashed in an attempt to destroy this great nation of ours. This has been going on for years and is now coming out in the open and being very bold about its agenda. The key target for this agenda is the United States because we stand for freedom and the spread of the gospel of The Kingdom of God. We are the most powerful nation on earth today and the most technically advanced nation on earth. This is because we have been blessed by the promised God gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, which Jacob passed on to Joseph's two sons. God told Abraham that in him and in his seed shall all the nations be blessed.

 

In Oct., 1960, Nikita Khrushchev pounded his shoe on the desk at the United Nations and proclaimed that they would destroy the US from within and would not have to fire a shot at them. He said, "We can't expect the American people to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find they have Communism."

 

Satan is no longer hiding in the bushes. He is exposing himself through those who are greedy and have taken his offer of wealth and power and over the past few years have come out in the open and it is now normal for LGBTQ movement to flood our TV programs and late-night TV, and movies and social media with their blatant opposition to the principals of the Kingdom of God. Not only that, but the Biden administration is tearing down the very fabric of our nation. Just look at what is happening at our border and the massive jobs that have been done away with the false green energy agenda.

 

Because of the media, and the lack of discernment, an overwhelming number of Christians have bought into the lies that the media puts out and believes them. No longer do they match what is going on in our nation with what the will of God is. A perfect example of this is that they overlook those who support abortion and who want to open our borders and destroy our election integrity and put hundreds of thousands of people out of work in otter disregard for the people!

 

It isn't always easy to stand up for what the Lord wants, when what we want is not the same thing. We are the ones who must change our views if they conflict with the Lords will! Paul said in Rom. 12:2,

 

Be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.""

 

It doesn't matter what you think about same sex marriages, transgender operations, abortion, LGBTQ or any other matter! What matters to Christians should be what does the Lord have to say about these things. Because, one day we will have to give an account for what we have believed!

 

The Apostle James really hit a homerun when he said in James 1:22-24,

 

""Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was." 

 

Also, in James 2:17-24, (NIV)

 

""Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that and shudder. You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone."

 

 

Faith is an action word. Believing is not faith!!! Our faith is revealed by the way we conduct ourselves. Most of us believe that Jesus spoke the truth. As a matter of fact, He is the truth! He demonstrated His faith in what the Father told Him by telling others what the will of the Father is. He defeated the devil by declaring the Word of His Father. If we are to be like Jesus, then we must learn to speak His word to every temptation we are faced with. This is a learning process for us that we must practice and practice and practice and we will see the devil leave us also.

 

The Bible says that God watches over His word to perform it. He told Jerimiah in Jer. 1:12,

"Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it."

"The LORD said to me, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled."

 

Paul said in Heb. 4:12,

 

"The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

 

When we speak the word of God, it is powerful and it penetrates the hearts of those who hear it. This is why memorizing the word is so important for us. It is only by doing this that we can declare what the Lord has to say and know that He is watching over His word to perform it. When we speak His word, it has the same power that Jesus had. In John 7:45-46 the temple guards said,

 

"Finally, the temple guards went back to the chief priests and the Pharisees, who asked them, "Why didn't you bring him in?""No one ever spoke the way this man does, the guards replied."

 

My prayer for you, today, is that the Lord will encourage you to speak His word and your faith will increase. Paul said in Rom. 10:17, (NKJV)

"So, then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

 

When you speak the words of God, your sub-conscience mind hears what you say and remembers what you have declared! Have a great week!
